Liber AL, 2: 41. "A feast for fire and a feast for water; a feast for life and a greater feast for death!"

            It was 64 years ago today that Aleister Crowley celebrated his greater feast, shedding the vehicle of shadow that clouded the light of his Star even as the Earth that blocks the Sun's light from our eyes. Death, the fulfillment of an incarnation, a time to look back at their legacy and accomplishments; the wax seal upon the scroll of their lives, stored in the great library with the others of lives past. This greater feast is the mark impressed with a signet ring, a wedding ring that is the joining with Nuit, and is made upon the soft seal of our collective memories and hearts, as we see the Light of their star shining in Her jeweled body.

           Raise a glass to our ancestor of the spirit this night.

We will be continuing our discussion on Aletheia with the 3rd part focussing on the Sun-Moon-Ascendant, and the Myth of Er from Plato's Republic. Today, August 12th, is the Feast day written in Liber AL II:37, "A feast for the first night of the Prophet and his Bride!" Commemorating the wedding of Aleister Crowley and Rose Edith Kelley (in 1903), which did lead to them to honeymoon in Cairo and receive The Book of the Law.

Summer Solstice.

       A happy Summer Solstice to all at this time of the Sun's peak of the Light upon the Earth. Have a  joyous Midsummer, Feast of St. John, Festival of Force and Fertile Fire, Day of our Father the Sun, from whose very Essence we are and all things made. AMN.

       I would also like to announce that S.N.A.S. Clerk House had a successful first open house night on Sunday June 19th, between Sr. Meral's Lesser Feast and the Summer Solstice. A gathering of like minded individuals discussing, drinking and laughing into the wee hours. Thanks to all that came to start off what will be a regular event; details to come.

This was the first meeting of Secret Name Clerk-House with the rest of the A.'.A.'. in California and it was a great Success on many levels! I want to thank Jerry for the time taken out to fill my mind and spirit with a wealth of wisdom. Ben of Leaping Laughter for exactly that! and for the hospitality. And the whole crew for the warm reception, conversation and laughs into the wee hours.

II:38. "A feast for the three days of the writing of the Book of the Law."

I am thrilled to announce that I will be representing my Clerk-House in California this year, which seems to be a most fitting celebration to break the champagne upon its magickal bow. I look forward to meeting everyone in person that I have only met warmly and well in correspondance. I'll be leaving the coldish dregs of Toronto's winter to a (for me) warm and breezy Berkeley from April 8th-11th, sealing the final Holy Days from the Spring Equinox and the New Anno to the reception of its Law.
