     The Easter theme was unexpected but fits well, as today is the trump of The Devil and is given to the day that Jesus descends into Hell to redeem the dead.
      In Aeonic terms, this trump is a depiction of Set, whose murdering of Asar opens the way for Oros (Horus) to take the throne, having subdued and bound Set. This recalls the HGA operation as the Light is brought to darkness; the Angel is used to bind the Demon.

     In terms of the theme of reincarnation that has been flowing through the trumps, this is the River of Lethe, whose name is Forgetfulness or Unmindfulness. Mind=Memory, and thus we may call it Ignorance, to 'Not Know' or the opposite of Gnosis which is Agnoia. The amount of these waters that we drink before we reincarnate determines how much of our past life/lives we can recall, and further, determines the type of person who seeks and questions such things and those who could care less about it all: Mystic and Materialist.
     The Devil, the Great Dragon, Satan the Adversary, are those who question and argue with the established ideas of the institution of organized religion and society. This is well summed in the tale of the Serpent in Eden. It is Lucifer, the bringer of Illumination and Gnosis, the Liberator of humanity, who fell that we might gain freedom from the Demiurgic tyrant who had created slaves and which is perpetuated in its continuing institutions: Religion and Commerce. The former to enslave the spirit of humanity and keep them repressed in Fear. The latter to enslave the mind and body in the bondage of wants and desires that keep us slave to the system. Forever the two chained to the Rock, worshipping the Great Lie, blanketed in Ignorance.
